Training: Run 8km
Can you believe that it is March already? I can't.
I must admit that I am a little sad to say goodbye to Summer. And it seems that Autumn has started with a cold snap, making the farewell to Summer quite obvious.
But as they say, the end of one month brings the start of another. Time for a February recap I think...
February frolics
This was quite the whirlwind month.
Movies….
Multicultural festival with lots of yummy food…
Baby love…
Football…
Blog-post milestones…
And fitness goals completed…
Beach adventures…
And bush adventures…
Gorgeous sights…
And carnival fun…
Not to mention lots of new dishes…
And baked goodies….
Although some were healthier than others…
And in training... I ran 72km, biked 35km and swam 8.15km. Wow it really does sound like a lot when you look at it that way. Unfortunately due to work commitments I was unable to spend more time on the bike and in the pool, and I don't see that changing much in the near future.
However, given that the triathlon season is all but over, I am going to try and focus more on running, strength training and yoga. A nice combination for the cooler months I think.
Here’s to a March filled with lots of new adventures!
Happy baking :)
