I really am so grateful that I have this little blog to remind me of all the things I accomplished this month…
Did you miss my previous monthly recaps?
We have well and truly hit Winter in Australia, with frosty mornings and cool day-time temperatures. This has resulted in a lot of time indoors, baking and cooking to my heart's content.
I checked off lots of ingredients from the Mystery Box this month, including zucchini, sprouts, quinoa, kaffir lime, kidney beans, mushrooms, sunflower seeds, chilli, besan, potato, rosemary, polenta, pinto beans, basil, cheese, seeds and capers. Wow...try saying those quickly!
Check out what I cooked with each ingredient by following the links on my Mystery Box page!
There were also pancake parties...
And baking just for fun...
A trip to Sydney...
A wonderful performance of Cats...
Ballet - which was a rockin'....
Chilly rugby watching…
Demolished houses...
An addiction to banana soft serve...
Fun runs...
And the BBB Sprint Triathlon...
In fitness news - I ran 50km and biked 112km. I also fit in 7 strength training sessions and 5 yoga classes. I must admith that I am loving having yoga and strength training in my workout routine over the cooler months… time to build some muscles I say:)
Overall this was another fantastic month. While it may have been filled with lots of frosty mornings, it was also filled with family, fun and fresh ingredients.
Here's to a Jubilant July!
What about you? Was your June joyful?
Happy baking :)
