Only one more sleep until Mr BBB and I hit the road for our Queensland adventure. Which means....time to pack! Or in my case, time to vote, dinner and then pack!
I was craving another Hot Yoga session after work this evening, but I left my packed gym bag at home?! Apparently my brain is already on holidays? Oh well, at least I didn't forget to vote in anticipation of tomorrow's election....
So, instead of hitting the gym it was straight home for a quick and easy dinner. Then the packing began.
As we are travelling by car, I can be a little more relaxed (and generous) when it comes to my luggage. I have still tried, however, to be organised.
A bag of electrical goods: cameras and chargers, IPOD and charger, laptop, phones & chargers. All packed together so they can be found easily.
Followed by the workout clothes - Runners, clothes, socks, sports bra, HR monitor and watch, cap, bathers, swim cap and goggles. Oh and my yoga mat!
And then the 'normal' clothes and shoes, plus books, travel documents, maps and notepads.
Let’s just say - lucky we are driving (and not flying!).
Stay tuned for part 1 of our road trip tomorrow - when I will also share my 'tips for staying healthy on the road' :)

I'm jealous of your ability to pack in an organized way. I always set out to do that, but it falls apart quickly. Have a good trip! I can't wait to see your tips.
ReplyDeleteHave fun in Queensland Lisa! it will be nice and warm ;) I can't wait to read all about it! :D
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip. So glad you're still going to be blogging while you're away. Oh, and thanks for the reminder that I need to vote in the morning.

Have fun and be safe!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I can't wait to read your adventures!
ReplyDeleteI love the flexibility and freedom of the road trip compared to flying--which just makes me feel dirty. :) Looking forward to the road pics!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your road trip! I love that about driving instead of flying - not having to worry about how much stuff you're bringing!
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip! And your plate of random (the post below) looks ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC for something that was randomly thrown together! How come the quinoa has little tails? Were they sprouted beforehand? Or do the tails come out during cooking?
ReplyDeletehave a great trip, drive carefully :)
ReplyDeleteHurrah for voting! :P Hope the road trip goes well - how long does it take to drive to QLD?!
ReplyDeleteWe have made many a road trip to Queenslands Sunshine Coast by car. Good Luck! It's a loooong way, but well worth it. Hope you have a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean when going away, packing up all the 'can't live without our technology & their charging apparatuses' - good thinking..., they deserve a bag on their own.
