Outstanding October

I nearly fell off my chair this morning when I arrived at work and saw the calendar.

1 November 2010.

Does anyone else feel like October disappeared in the blink of any eye? Thank goodness I have this blog to remind me of my monthly adventures!!!
October was certainly an 'outstanding month' - despite being quite busy!

Even though this month was filled with trips away and celebrations, the Mystery Box was not forgotten and 9 ingredients were selected this month.

Dill, tahini, tarragon, lettuce, fennel, mint, onion, sweet potato and yoghurt. You can check out what I cooked with each ingredient by following the links under the Mystery Box page!

In fitness news, this month I made the decision to compete in the Canberra Half Ironman - scheduled for 12 December  (6 weeks away!!!). October was a good month for running / swimming although I did slack off on my bike sessions (for various reasons). I managed to run 135km, bike 181km and swim 20.6km!

Here's to a Nutritious November!

What about you? Did you have an outstanding October?

Happy Baking :)

  11. Just found your blog and it's awesome. I had a similar reaction when I discovered it was 1 November yesterday. For some reason I was sure November didn't start until tomorrow and it suddenly occurred to me how close to the end of the year we suddenly are (mild panic about Christmas)!
