What a wonderful year that 2010 has been. It feels like only yesterday that I was boarding a plane to Japan to snowboard and welcome the New Year. Now, I find myself at the end of December, ready to welcome in another New Year.
2010 was most definitely a year of development, reflection and adventures. I started the Mystery Box challenge, we built a new house, I completed a half ironman… and that’s just to name a few!
As the year draws to a close, what better way to celebrate than by taking a step back to reflect on the wonderful times we had. Be prepared for a photo overload…

2010 was also a big year in fitness. I completed 2 half marathons, 1 Sprint Triathlon, a handful of shorter triathlons, 2 trail runs, a mud run and a Half Ironman. Definitely more than I anticipated at the start of the year, but a lot of fun! Over the year I ran 982km, biked 1362km and swam 73km. Man that sounds like a lot when you put it all together :)
Well I hope you have enjoyed this little photo journey of my year. 2010 was most certainly a fantastic year, although I am sure next year will be even better! I cant wait to share my 2011 adventures with you also!
What about you? What were the highlights of your 2010?
Happy Baking :)

Oh my god, you were at the foodbloggers conference? I didn't realise????
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know there was a food bloggers conference in Australia (I think I had my food blog then). It was fun seeing your year in photos - I think I started reading in April and can't for the life of me remember how I found you - I think from one of the USA food blogs - maybe Healthy Tipping Point. My memory is so bad :-(. I've so enjoyed getting to know you through your blog, and of course meeting you earlier this month. You have been such a fitness inspiration for me and to date all of your recipes that I've made have been a HUGE success and have been made a number of times. Thanks for being such a great blog friend :-).
