Training: Run 5km
Well the taper has officially started (or should I say...continues?!). Today I just had a 'short' 5km run on the schedule, which I completed with a lap of Lake Burley Griffin.
I couldn't help but stare at the lake during the run, wishing and hoping that a miracle occurs and it is back to being 'swim quality' by Sunday. If not, it looks like the swim leg of the Half Ironman will be replaced with an extra run.
Although I gain great enjoyment out of running, nothing could beat the other excitement of my day.
That would be the key for our new house!!
After work, Mr BBB and I went to collect the keys, giddy with anticipation. As you may recall, 6 months and 13 days ago, our house looked like this.....
It now looks like this....
While the carpet and vinyl still needs to be laid...let me take you on a tour. After all - we need some 'before' shots to make the 'after' shots look good don’t we???
Entry way…
Main bedroom...
Ensuite...
Library...
Kitchen...
Living / dining...
Bedrooms...
Guest bathroom...
Laundry…
Garage....
Water tank (which is full after the recent rainfall!)
And curious birdlife….
But now the ‘fun’ part really begins….flooring, furniture, decorating….and colour!!! It is sure going to be a busy week.
I suspect it will also be a week in which takeaway Thai food makes more than one appearance ;)
Happy Baking :)
