Uncle time

The hardest thing for me living interstate from my family, is that I don't get to see them as much as I would like to. Before Charlotte was born, I would try to visit as often as I could, but heading down to Melbourne for the day or overnight is not really an option at the moment.

Luckily, however, I have had lots of family come to us over the last few months.

The latest being…

My little brother!

Who could not resist having some more Uncle time!

And although it was only for a few days, there was no shortage of cuddles between this Uncle and his niece.  C was very comfortable with him by her side.

While we didn’t get up to ‘too’ much during his stay, we did get out for walks in the gorgeous Canberra sunshine, played lots of games with C and spent the days chatting and generally catching up on ‘life’.

And ate well.

Of course!

We were all very sad to say goodbye yesterday, but the countdown is now officially on for our first trip to Melbourne in 2.5 months time!
