The many faces of C

At the start of each week, Charlotte and I have a little photo shoot. Mostly because the weeks are passing by so quickly these days, and I want to have a photo timeline of her growth and development over her first year.

But when it comes time to choosing one photo to capture the week, I  find myself giggling at the “out takes” – which are often rather funny and highlight just how adorable her facial expressions can be. And, despite my computer hard drive being almost full with the thousands of photos we have of our little girl, I just can’t bring myself to delete any!

Take the ones taken at 28 weeks for example….

               

Lots of expressions, and movement, but I chose this one for the week.

Our 30 week ‘shoot’ was much of the same, with C making lots of noise and blowing raspberries throughout.

       

But I just loved this one of her – looking oh so angelic…

I really do look forward to these weekly photo shoots, although they are getting harder and harder as C starts to wriggle and move more.

So many ‘out-takes’ – but they too capture the moment…

And then I get a photo like this one…

And my heart just melts
