This tasty little dinner came, again, courtesy of Jamie Oliver’s 15 Minute Meals cookbook.
And really was very simple to put together.
Burgers – made with lean mince, beer and seeded mustard.
On the side – a cabbage, carrot, pear and rocket salad – dressed simply with red wine vinegar and olive oil.
We served the burgers on wholemeal rolls that we had toasted…
Along with tomato, cheese, pickles (my favourite!), tomato sauce and a natural yoghurt (that was jazzed up with a splash of worcestershire sauce).
All together now….
Delish!
What about you? Do you like you make your own burgers?

yes, never by pre-made. I keep it simple, good mince, an egg to bind and a good splash of soy sauce.
ReplyDeleteThat's it, you've just tipped the scales in favour of giving this book a go ... I keep telling myself I have too many cook books already but I can't seem to stop buying more :)
ReplyDeleteLove a good burger. And yours looks delicious! A very pretty plate of food.
ReplyDeleteBurgers are something I generally don't make at home because I have some great burger restaurants in my area. But this post has me wanting to make my own!
