Bake It, Bike it & Pay it Forward – Giveaway Time!

I have had a lot of fun working with Fitness First over the last 6 months. Their #changeforthebest campaign has seen one reader win a great prize pack,  I’ve swapped workouts with a fellow blogger, I’ve supercharged my fitness with a horse ride and even challenged myself to step out of my comfort zone.

What I’ve really enjoyed about this campaign, is the variety. It was about trying new things, and shaking things up once in a while.

But fitness is not just about exercise - it is a frame of mind. Health is not about restriction – but about moderation and  balance.  It is a lifestyle.

And now, here comes the fun part.

For I get to Pay it Forward….

Yes one lucky reader will get to take home something to inspire them in the kitchen, and something to help them reach their fitness goals!

  1. Can't say no to gym, when it's at Fitness First,
Can't say no to cooking, on Jamie Oliver's watch,
Can't say no to sports gear, when it's Rebel's stuff,
With that, I say yes to my fitness goal, a healthier & happier mum of a 2-year-old.

  3. Three things that I love - fitness, food and fabulous gear. As a mum of three busy boys, this would continue to motivate me to train during the cold Canberra Winter (hard work getting out on those dreary freezing winter days!). With this great prize I’d miss no sessions, and healthy meal ideas would abound with the cookbook. Choose me!

  5. Hi Lisa - nothing like a giveaway to get a long time lurker out into the open! I'm guilty of this, have long read you, but never before commented. I'm way older then you and way unfitter, but I'd love to have something as motivational as this to give me a kick start. All the best. cheers Wendy

  8. Ah amazing! It covers all the bases really! Nutrition, exercise and looking good doing it! I would love to exercise indoors - the cold and Canberra wet (recently!) has made outside challenging! I'd been keen to see FF's changes and try their facilities (whilst staying dry!)

I am post menopausal and in the last six months I have broken both of my ankles and been in a boot for a total of four months. Subsequently, I have gain over fifteen kg. It is a vicious cycle because I keep going over on my now unstable ankles and am getting really scared to walk on my own.

The extra weight is just exacerbating the problem. I need to go to the gym but it is not within my reach financially so this prize pack would be a blessing. Gym for ten weeks with Fitness First, shoes from Rebel and quick and healthy recipes from Jamie would kick start something that would just snowball!

Everytime I "work out", I "reward" myself with goodies like chocolate and an extra glass (or two) or wine. This will ensure I actually go to the gym rather than doing the ol' bicep beer curls with a pint and convincing myself its exercise and then cook a healthy Jamie style meal instead of gorging on wedges and sour cream. MMMmmmmmm wedges...

  21. I'm a 4'11 28 year old, who plays roller derby. While I'm small and speedy, I have no strengths to stay up on skates when 6 foot muscle girls hit me, and I know I could improve if I start a weights/strength routine at a gym.
